Just found this. Seems like a great little Service. Set up an account and welcome to a whole new world of Contact! You can send free text to any 07 number in the Uk. I don't know if you get a limited amount a day, but i just tried on and the only thing they do is at the end of your message it says free texts at http://www.btcontact.bt.com.
Register at the Beta Now! :p
It also seems you can arrange all your Im contacts into on program, from msn, yahoo ect... I'll try this out next.

--It only seems to be allowing google talk to do it currently.

Great find ali! set up in no time at all!, remember to put your name at the end of texts though as it shows up as from 'bt connect' :)
I would have thought they would have only offered this to bt broadband customers but what they hey :p
It doesnt like my password though - dislike of numbers or symbols me thinks

That's quite a useful site, actually, especially seeing as my 6th Form blocks a lot of sites. I just use my phone to access them, but it's quite handy for those with limited internet :)
