View Full Version : Bionic Woman
This is recently started in the states and I found the first two episodes great! Its got Michelle Ryan (Kats daughter in Eastenders) in it as the main character and she's not looking too bad. From the storyline side of things its good:
She is involved in a car crash caused by the first bionic woman (not from the older series) and ends up having to have her right arm replaced by a bionic arm and her legs replaced with bionic legs, also a bionic eye, bionic ear, "anthrocytes" injected into her which allow her to heal quickly and finally chips implanted into her brain or somewhere which means that she's pretty much programmed for combat. All the replacements are conducted by her boyfriend who she didnt have any idea was involved in this type of stuff. The general direction of the storyline is that she now has to do missions for this agency who done the replacements. I'm not sure how similar it is to the previous version of the program but its good so far :)
I'd recommend it to anyone

I've watched both pilots to this (the unaired one with the deaf sister and the aired one with the non-deaf sister) and it's OK, but I can't see it being that great to be honest; I've had the second episode since Thursday and haven't watched it yet, so I could change my mind if it turns out to be a good episode.
Ah right, I did hear about the deaf sister pilot probably from wikipedia or something but, I have watched the second episode and I found it good, just one of those things that might suit different tastes.

Just watched the first episode, it was ok, but nothing too special. Though I do love that car crash, how completely overly violent is it. I love it!
And the rudeness of it all GBM, me, easy to please?!?!?!

That was good, wasn't it.
Oh, and I've just finished watching the 2nd and 3rd episodes; they're a vast improvement on the pilot (both of them).

I'm glad to hear you think this way :)
I think I watch a bit too much American tv programs rather than sticking with British, although Hustle and hotel babylon should get their asses into gear and get going :)

Well, there's Hustle and Hotel Babylon, but also Dr. Who, Torchwood, Robin Hood, Top Gear, Saxondale, QI, Primeval; there's loads of good British programmes to watch. Yes, there may be a greater number of good American shows, but there's also far more crap that comes from America too.
