I heard this today and thought it was crap, she sing's the same way all the time, if you know what I mean, that stupid wobble in her voice. Imo she overloads her songs with it.

I LOVE this song by Snow Patrol, so it's dangerous territory for anyone to go and cover it in my opinion....and this is ok actually until she starts singing like crazy at the end, she goes and turns it into an xfactor winners barbie pink christmas number 1 song, completely ruins it.

But the first half is good.

Obviously not a clue what your on about. I thought this was a powerfull rendition of the song and made it stand out to so many people. I have never had much time for her before now but this song made me stand up and listen. Awsome

I agree! When i found out she was doing it i was a bit umming and rrring. Wasn't bad though, the end seemed to be a bit, weird.

I think the original is great and this surprisingly was a very good job of covering it, better than 98% of the other live lounge stuff (although the Arctic Monkeys covering love machine is still #1 for me).

ooh how did i miss this thread. sorry but i gotta say i hate this version! it makes me ears bleed when i hear it!

never guess im not a huge leona fan cus i detest that mariah careyesque style of singing. that said i love bleeding love! its just run is one of my classic songs so to hear her mariah version of it..well it wasnt good! cest la vie each to their own i reckon!!
