Ok, I've stolen this from the darkside, how about one night at a predetermined time we have a quiz in the shoutbox, it would work like this:

I collect together 15-20 questions in different categories (music, film, general knowledge and recent affairs) and then ask them in turn in the shoutbox, all people who are there then PM me (in the shoutbox) with the answer, at the end of each round I tally up the scores and say just generally how people are doing - i.e. 3 people with 3 points, 2 people with 2 points and so on (without saying who's winning). and then at the end of it all we find out the winner.

Oh and googling means instant disqualification - even if you are really really quick, I will know!

Wow, its got a good response so I'll start working on a set of questions in order to prepare myself, We'll have to set a day too when most people are free (as I realize that it's difficult to get everyone free)
