View Full Version : The Chris Moyles Show Advert | At the cinema
Not sure if you guys are aware, but it appears Radio 1 have advertised the show at the cinema. Picture the scene: Blank screen, and Chris & Dave chatting along with a American sounding "movie" voiceover - you know ones that usually voice big movies. It goes on for a while and is a really good advert.
Good idea for the bbc to advertise various shows at the cinema, I don't think i've seen it before. :001:

Balls, I wonder if anyone will accidently film it and put it on the internet :(. I'm not going to the cinema for a while, I really want to see it too!. Hmm, maybe if its good enough it'll get put onto telly?
there isnt much to film really, its just audio. besides your not allowed to film in cinemas.

You don't need to film, you only need to record a few minutes of audio. A mobile phone should be able to handle that, although I'm not sure how good the quality would be.

I know - pah to the no filming - this is important, its moyles!
and I find it rather silly that they've made it to the big screen and arent taking advantage of the fact that its big and can show video :? although that said it may be because he's radio and therefore people dont really need to see him anyway, they need to recognise his voice

The Odean do the best popcorn by far... yummy. I used to buy popcorn after I had finished shopping and eat it on the way home, the cini must have thought I was weird !!

Oy...How rude :001: At least I didn't get the dustbin size coke to go with it !!! :icon_lol:
These days, the price of food at cinemas is on par with motorway service stations. You have to take a small loan of a third world country to buy a drink and some sweets in cinema. And usually its all gone by the time the film has started anyway!

The price of the food (as well as the price of the ticket, the hundreds of adverts and the crap-ness of most films) is among the top reasons that I don't go to the cinema anymore.

I love the cinema! You just have to know the films to see Console ;) The
prize off sky high food, is due to the cinema only gets a very small portion of the tickets price. So they make money through ads and food.
I saw it On Short Change :)

tell you what gets on my nerves is the amount of adverts you have to sit through before the film starts it puts nearly half an hour on top of the film
Well turn up a bit later, or hang outside in the foyer ?
