Is it true that Chris is going to be with Gordon Ramsey on Cookalong Live this friday.
I have just read this in the Mirror paper today ?

Aled can you comfirm this as i will watch it if Chris is in it x x

Oooh, that sounds good - I saw an advert for the cookalong live thing and thought that would be funny if something went wrong but we'll see I suppose, I'm sure Moyles will mention something if he is, either that or he'll mention that he's been in the paper

Gordon Ramsay mentioned this on Jonathon Ross' R2 show last Saturday, so it is true. It sounds like an odd idea for a show to me. Personally cooking is one of the last things I'd want to do whilst watching telly, all I want to do is sit back and relax.

I'll watch it anyway because its Gordon Ramsey, but it will definately help me remember if Moyles is on it and plugs it a million times :P

It's a shame they seem to be going for Aled instead of Dave. No offense meant to Aled, it's good to see him get his name out there and he seems to want it more than Dave. But I find Dave (and Dom) to be the most entertaining member of the team, so I'm a little disappointed if I'm honest.

I might watch it though.

Did watch it and it was quite good.

Glad Alan Carr beat Gordon with the cook off.

Was that Mr Aled next to you Aled as I have never seen him before. His big !!!

Dave has done TV before, and always comes across really well (Better than Chris in some cases - I'm looking at the MOTD bit they did).

Dave has done TV before, and always comes across really well (Better than Chris in some cases - I'm looking at the MOTD bit they did).

What i mean is they may not want to do to much tv work, they may be satisified with the work they have. Your right though they do come across better then Chris. On Gordon's show, Chris look's like he dosn't like the camera on his face, if you know what i mean ?

It was very very funny, I really enjoyed it. Perhaps now that Dave is a dad and so is Dom, it's not so easy to do late night telly because of being away, Aled doesn't have them sort of ties.

I loved the show although it did show the big flaw with these types of "you can cook this in this amount of time" shows. As Gordon expected everybody to have chef like speed, and it simply isnt the case with 99% of people. It was mentioned on the show last year that Gordon expects everyone to know the people he knows, the places and restauraunts he knows, and to have his skills, and fridays show rather prooved it to me.

I thought Chris did a fantastic job to keep up and all his food looked delicious.

I agree, I think had they not had the other 3 celeb's in it, it would have been much better viewing. The camera work at the beginning made me feel a bit sick, jumping from one shot to the other. Like you say, Chris did an excellent job to keep up with a speedy chef.

The Cookalong is repeated tonight on chanel 4 at 8.00pm tonight for anyone who missed it.

I for one will be watching again to get the recipe for the choco mousse.

I watched it off the sky box earlier and it has to be one of the funniest things I've seen, even my mum liked it!, I think that it worked with Chris well mainly because he gives a bit of back chat, I can see that he was a bit shy at first and nervous too but that all went by the end, the food looked rather nice too - specially the choccie at the end :p

i was flicking through the news of the world today at work cus i was bored. omg the critic guy in there was horrible about chris...i could smack him one! the guys constantly moaning and doesnt seem to like anything! hope chris gives hima good roasting on the show tomorrow cus he so deserves it!!! :074:

All the scumbag's seem to be getting on the bandwagon to bad mouth Chris. The one I read said because of the amount of beer he has a day it is pushing kid's into drinking more. As if.
