Today's Show.

This is just a suggestion but I know 3 of us, me included, have started a seperate thread about a certain day's show and saying how good it was and what we enjoyed.


Would it be a good idea to have a 'Today Show' thread, like the 'Happy Birthday' thread so that maybe Aled and the Team know what rock's our boat's as we have been asked on several occasion's what we would like on the show and there is not too many thread's about the same subject.

I like that idea, I was going to suggest it (honestly!) but I thought that it might get a bit confusing if someone reply's about the previous day's show after someone has just posted about the current days show if that makes sense?

perhaps if everyone has to post in a set format e.g.

I'd prefer threads that say Mon 21st Jan Show thread etc - otherwise it could get confusing which show we're talking about!

Thats very true, I think as long as people make the thread name make sense it'd work - for example 'todays show' wont make sense tomorrow and so on - perhaps mods and my annoying PM's could keep and eye on that ;)

Yes it would but just imagine a whole page of a list of threads with just 'Today's show' all the way down it - if its the date thats in the thread title which is bold it makes it easier

But people dont necessarily listen to the show on the day it is broadcast.

The date is also not shown until you're in the thread.

Plus it's way too subtle. Trying to work out which show people are refering to - what if you were to log in the next day?

Yeah, you never know which show people talk about when they label threads: "Todays Show"
