Has anyone seen this on MediaGuardian today? Scott Mills has come in for a real slating for defending Chris Moyles and saying he's not homophobic.

Personally, I think the writer is being offended by stuff that he hasn't actually heard himself - and is instead going by second hand reports from people who seem to be going out of their way to take offence at things.

I know I probably shouldn't have, but I couldn't help but laugh at that blog. How long ago was that 'incident'? It was 2006, for God's sake, a single 'incident', over a year ago, that is continually quoted out-of-context. It is truly pathetic.

It's just complaining for complainings sake. It's fairly obvious through his freindship with Aled alone that Moyles isn't homophobic, yet some people will (as Console said) still point out one out of context quote to try to prove their point, all the while totally ignoring the numerous things that prove them wrong.
Blogs like that are fit for one thing - being ignored.

funny i was just reading about that in chris' second book tonight about how he had been accused of being homophobic!! oh please, some people will say anything to try and make someone look bad! sometimes people just hear the parts of a conversation they want to hear and turn it into something totally out of context! hardly think aled would want to be working for someone who was homophobic!! whole things just laughable isnt it!!
Aled has worked hard to quash anything regards to this and the "working with Chris Moyles" article that posted a few months back should of summed up this whole bollocks of a subject. However, people dont see the fact that Chris Moyles works with a gay producer, instead carry on to refer to Chris Moyles as a homophobic Presenter.
There are tons of things people can talk about to a Presenter from Radio 1, but the Guardian decide to refer to that. Not really talking about him or the show, it was about someone else.
If I was Press Officer (probably Mr Caley, who you dont wanna upset) I'd of stopped the interview and told the Reporter to leave.

The problem is people hear what they want to hear and when the truth is not to they liking they dismiss it all the time
truth hurts FACT
anyone who is a chris moyles fan or close friends and family can clearly see he is not homophobic
