Hi Aled,
Maybe its just me, but when I watch a video from the Chris Moyles Show, I can't help but see / feel that we're being patronised in some way.
For example in the recent video its like "HIIII!, and welcome to the Chris Moyles Show extra with me ALEDDDD"
You're one of the most easily known faces of the show - its likely those looking at the video will know who you are? Now, this maybe part of your overly nice & friendly on air character, which is great. You're a nice guy on and off the radio, but it just seems a bit, how do I say, tawdry?
Don't take this the wrong way, its just something i've noticed in the videos. As i've commented before, I think the videos for "behind the scenes" are very good and making the TCMS more visual seems to be a key objective of the show producers, however I just don't agree with the approach some of the show take within the videos.

I think that we, as big fans of the show, fans that join up to the message-boards and see images of the team a lot, will know what the team looks like and can put faces to names, but the average listener probably doesn't do that and wouldn't be able to say which person was which. I don't think it's patronising, because that introduction probably isn't mean for us, it's meant for everyone else that doesn't know what Aled looks like. It's also Aled's personality coming through in video form.
Console is right. I've done a video for The Surgery which has an intro in a style that I would normally do "Hi, I'm Aled from The chris Moyles Show" but not quite over the top.
The video schpiel I do when doing a video for The Chris Moyles Show is very much an in joke character thing - it's our way of doing the SImpson's "Hi it's Aled here - you may know me from such shows as..." so is always meant to be a bit of a gag.
The Aled's Guides / Carrie On Footballers and video presentation are all meant be the same "hiya" type thing like I am on the show.
