Is there any way I can be alerted that I have messages in my User CP bit, as I only see them when I look in there and thats no often.

Can they not be shown in the private message box top right of this page.

People may think I am ignoring them.

It 'corrects' itself because when you minimise it it actually reloads the data (because I'm lazy and didn't want to rewrite the script parse the HTML). The problem doesn't happen everytime, which of course makes it harder to find the problem because I have no idea what makes those times different from the last times. The problem is that it is defaulting to the rep only ordering for some reason, but there is absolutely no reason for it to do that.

it jumps when people turn on/off the show reption level as i have just turned mines on and off just to read the coments and see if i was still a top user or not^^witch i am so that could be why it jumps everso often as well as the other problme? if others are doing what i just did

That's not the problem, the whole order changes, not just a few disappearing. Besides, a person would have to submit their changed rep-showing option at the same time (down to 10^-2 seconds) as the Top Users script updates itself - even if this incredibly unlikely event occurred, it wouldn't make the list re-order itself.

The quote function - does it purposely not put the quotes within a quote and just do the most recent one, its just it can get a bit confusing.

for example, say I quoted Tamba - that post would be quoted in mine but then say Ali quoted me, only my text would show up in his quote, not both mine and Tambas
Is this on purpose, a bug or just something that I'll have to deal with?

Actually, I spent part of my day re-doing templates so that the inbuilt vB notifier (as you've obviously seen) would function. I was actually surprised how similar the code I found and the code I was writing actually was - it's only a shame I didn't notice it earlier.
