Hiya
I saw Aled in Slough whilst I was over there driving into work. Yes I work in Slough but luckily i don't live there!
I was listening to Radio 1 as I do every morning and he said he was in Slough at the main roundabout that I was approaching. I just saw him at one of the exits and beeped and waved like crazy and he waved back all happy and friendly! What a start to a friday morning!!
Thanks Aled :D xxxx

Why do his figures always go down after a couple of weeks of Scott in for Chris ?

VivAyrshire
28-07-2008, 11:22 AM
Chris has told one of the tabloids he thinks it's just a temporary glitch, and the figures will be back up again next time! I'm sure they will. :-)

postie
28-07-2008, 02:55 PM
plus those figures would be from before chris was off

be careful about blaming Scott. Cause that isn't true. We take roughly two weeks every three months, or a fortnight every quarter. It's probable that every quarter since we started includes a fortnight off.

Coincidentally this quarter we're currently on is the first where that might be different.

Like I said before I would be classed as one of the lost ones I hardly ever get to hear the show live but do go on listen again starting to get up at 6 now just to hear the show live now

bbb you won't count unless you're doing a diary. They do weird calculations based on the tiny number of people who fill in the diaries.

Scott always almost automatically gets the blame, which is a damn shame... The minute Chris goes off, yeah, let's all just hold Scott responsible.

are you on the dole

No I am not on the dole/ brew well not on jobseekers I do get dla as I am entitled to it but I am living off my savings only I am to lazy to go sign on jobseekers at the mo no point as I wont be able to work and I am not entitled to the one you get if you cant work oddly

Well, if you are ill, you would be entitled to sickness benefit whilst unable to work. You should look into it, you know. :-)

Already looked into it one of the workers In the dole/brew even went so far as to get me to apply for it to see I am not that fussed I still have money to do what I like saying that I have noticed it going down more so now oh well lol

VivAyrshire
29-07-2008, 03:29 PM
Yeah, but it's just I don't see why you should use up your own savings, when you are entitled to benefits that's all. Still, it's up to you. :-)

withdraw all the savings say you had to use it on the flat or house then claim again ;)

BBC staff (i.e. all of us except Chris and Dom) get 5 weeks a year.

I'll be working on Scott's show for the first week of holidays in our next fortnight which, incidentally will be the first fortnight of September.

Andrew80

strangely enough I make sure (if I'm not on me motorbike - no radio) then I will put the radio on for Moyles in the morning or Mills in the evening

in the early days though when the team went on holiday I would listen instead to Wogan... until I got used to Scott. but for some reason I don't make quite the same effort to try to hear Scott when he stands in for Chris than I do for Scotts own shwo when hes on it. but if someone asked me in a poll I would say Either Chris Moyles or Scott Mills is what I listen to - so I wouldnt be one of the 440000 anyway.

You should invest in one of these pedometer things. I've just got one, and they're great. You can get them for £5.00 at the Avon Shop plus an armband for money & mobile.

I was bopping along to the radio yesterday, and at the end, it registered 2000 + steps.
