I heard Chris comment this morning on a Band who had attempted to give him their CD at 0615 hours yesterday.
Now Chris (as we know) is Mr Grumpy first thing, and it sounds like he wasn't very welcoming.
So today, a person who knows the Band has texted in this morning to say that this particular Band work very hard. Chris' reaction to this was to say that many people work very hard, and "that's life".
Now, I agree to a point. However, I'm sorry but I do feel Chris is no ordinary "Joe Bloggs In The Street", is very much in the public eye, and should have been polite.
Do you agree/ disagree?

How can the only two options both be 'Yes'?

One's agree, one's disagree. Now get back in your box, and don't disrupt my latest creation.

You've asked a Yes/No question and only given 'Yes' as a possible answer - the second should be 'No, I disagree'.

Right, so how do I fix this dreadful matter.

So, it's sorted. Could you not just have done that in the first place without the need for commenting

Of course I could have - unless you think that the forum requires your indirect authorisation for me to edit your poll.

hey you try getting up that time for 5 days a week and see if you could be bothered to be mr happy all the time
i totally agree with chris on this ive been getting up early for nearly 9 years and some days you just dont feel like cracking a smile at that time
and he did say if they had of turned up later his reaction probably would of been a lot more welcome
and besides i think he copes really well considering how little sleep he gets

I think the problem is the role model type of responsibility we bestow on anyone in the public eye.
Everyone has times when they operate at a standard lower than they expect of themselves. I know there are times I will be dealing with a customer complaint and I will respond to rudeness where as on a different day I will deal very professionally.
I realise its a different situation, but same idea, I represent a brand when I am dealing with a customer, Chris represents the BBC (who never lie) but the expectation is he will hold this 24 hours a day.

no not really andy in your job you are expected to be polite to customers as it reflects on the business and sales even
where as chris is a celeb and is the saviour of radio 1 and cause the show is so successful id say he is allowed to have the right to be grumpy outside at that time in the morning
and i agree with mitchell lets not turn this into cm.net please

I agree, sorry prob wasnt clear - I think the 24 hour expectation is unfair. Everyone has a right to be grumpy.
