Hi,
I know you already have a post talking about "Manuelgate" but not just thought I would introduce myself by having a discussion on what you think the ramifications might be for the BBC as a whole.
We aren't going to be getting bland, dreary rubbish from Moyles are we? I just want to tell Aled now to not drift into safe territory. When youre safe you dont let Chris be Chris, and when Chris isn't Chris? The show is over.
Im just concerned given the fact the Daily Mail headline today is:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1081949/The-BBC-fills-living-rooms-smutty-degrading-obscenities.html
its just ugh. Im sorry Daily Mail journalists that you never got a job at the BBC but get over it!

I don't think that what Chris does on his show is the same thing as what happened on R2 at all. For all his apparent rudeness and loudness, Chris usually has his professional sensors well switched on. Also don't forget he is fortunate enough to have brilliant producers - which I think was the main problem over on R2.

And I'm hopeful that the fact that Chris started his show this morning with a pretty nice rant indicates that it will be business as usual on The Moyles show.

I can assure you we will always make the show for our listeners and not for the Daily Mail! Don't worry.
