Not sure if this was mentioned on the show, but is there any reason why the front of Dom's Dog Blanket Shirt Calendar says '2008'...?

Because someone (probably Matt Fincham, DEFINITELY not Aled......!) made a BIG mistake.

night shifts are killers
Especially when you've been working since 1pm the day before!!

I'd quite like one of the proper calendars, but I think I quite like the naffness having a printed out one held together with staples!! *

* and also I know the chances of me being at the same place as the actual ones on Friday is very small!!

I can't give you calendars unfortunately because that would be classed as favouritism which breaches a whole bunch of BBC rules.

I can give a clue though... calendar will be made available on Friday in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England :)

Aled, be honest: is the current climate of BBC hypersensitivity starting to get to people at the station?

Not just about favouritism, but mentioning the blog rules and obviously the issues with the missing word game etc. Is it not starting to get a little annoying?

Can't answer that I'm afraid.

I understand why it's being done. Everything is now aboveboard, transparent and uber honest!

In other words, yes.

I don't know how it couldn't. It's annoying the hell out of me and I don't even work there.

And although they're not completely to blame for everything, the world could really do without The Daily Mail right now.

Hi Aled, I came and got a calendar off you this morning (I was out of breath - I was late for work and I'm so unfit!). Thanks very much! Hope you enjoyed Birmingham :)

Well for all of us that don't end up getting hard copies, I think it's brilliant that we can download them. I really couldn't stop laughing. Even my youngest thought it was funny. Dom's expressions are priceless. Good job! xx

I too understand (I think) why all these strange regulations are being enforced, but I also wonder if the BBC is fully aware of the negative response of many of its customers. But I suppose they are in a no-win situation really - they are going to piss off a group either way, so I reckon they have little choice.

I blame Matt Fincham

Can I recommend Photobox (http://www.photobox.co.uk/) for creating a calendar of your own from the images of Dom? - You're very own possibly personalised Doms Dog Blanket Shirt Calendar!

I havent ordered a calendar from them but I have had a mug, notepad and photo enlargements and must say they come out really well!
