This Sunday's Surgery, 31 January 2010 will be a discussion about sun beds and tanning!!

Could be interesting.

You know, my local DVD shop have a bizarre idea.

You can go into the shop, and they have a DVD section, but also an area for tanning.

So, basically, you can choose a DVD, go and get tanned, come back, collect it, and leave the shop. Now, they've introduced spinning plates.

So, now you can rent, spin and tan all in the one morning!! LOL

Will have to check this "spinning plates" thing out this morning... it's the exercise thing, where you spin, you know.

So its just spinning, with no plates involved? Spinning like the stationery bike spinning? Because THAT I understand!

I have re-investigated, and it seems it is vibration plates, to help you lose weight. Oops.

You can drop a dress size in only 3 weeks with vibration plates, not spinning plates!! LOL

On Thursday, 4th February 2010, there will be a program on BBC 3 at 9 pm called: "Nicola Roberts: Truth About Tanning". Could be interesting.

Nicola will also be on the Surgery this coming Sunday!! woo

*runs off to get a vibrating plate* lol i used to go on sunbeds when i was 15/16 not all the time but 3 or 4 times a month, i haven't been on one since then, if i do want a tan i just fake it you can get good results from fake tan and you dont risk your life for it. Its scary girls as young as 10/11 are already addicted to tanning, at that age i wouldn't have known what one was!

Yeah, like pretty much every other 'get fit quick' scheme, the vibration plate doesn't work - I'd suggest not rushing out to get one.

I'd tend to agree with this. It's like everything else. You have to work at exercise, and not expect the quick fix solution!!

Try my technique, Aimee... go out running, but make sure there is a cake shop on your running path, so you have some incentive to keep going!! The extra calories won't matter, because your metabolism will be burning stuff fast!!

I had 4 cakes on Saturday : cherry cake, pineapple, Fern and coffee. Bought a box of them.
