I just got a Wii for my birthday and the only game i have is Harry potter. I need some advice on what other games you would recommend me to get

I do love my wii. My arms are killing from the boxing.

I got Redsteel free with it, thats not bad. And Legend of Zelda, ive heard thats amazing, but i havent got round to that yet!

Next on my agenda is spiderman, whoo!

Whats Redsteal about and whats it like?

Redsteel is a shoot-em-up but not in the traditional sense really. It's interesting because part way through levels you get sword fights with people where you use the controller and nunchuck as if you really were doing it (very realistic imo).

It is hard to get used to at first due to the fact you've got to keep concentrating all the time cus if you put your arms down the screen begins to spin but it's by far the best game I've got for the Wii so far!

I want to get Resident Evil too.

Lol sounds like a good game. I've got it set up in my brothers ld bedroom so that no one walking past can see me. I don't think I'm verry good at the moment as I'm not used to it yet,

If you're looking for games that are just fun, and games to have a laugh with some mates, then you HAVE to check out Wario Ware, that game is so funny its just wrong, as is Mario Party 8, that one isn't AS good, but its still funny with mates. Super Monkey Ball is aslo ace.

Good single player games though are Zelda which has already been mentioned, Trauma Centre...its really fun that game, bizzarely fun. Cutting people open and doing surgery, its just really adictive! Sonic is also a great game!

Wario is a fun and addictive game... i love it!!! Also Wii play and Wii sport are fun (if a little simple). My fella plays on Redsteal and i can't stand shoot 'em up games - they scare me :(

dont have that game but i do have a wii i love it love the blowing ally oon wii sports only bad thing is my sis beats me on that but in real life i beat her its odd buts it so fun and hurts like hell i also have a few fighting game i forget there neames but one of them u get to use a KATANA (samire sowrd witch im brill at in real life:P even better at in games i also have the zeleda one its amazing love it

i had a wii bought for my birthday (its november lol just a touch early)
and have super paper mario which is a good single player game. cooking mama is fun too you quickly learn who does a lot of w***king with that one lol.

Wiis are great :D

I'd get Super Mario Galaxy (when it's out in a couple of weeks), or if you are wanting something sooner - try MySims or SSX Blur - both are really good games ;)

Don't forget the Wii can play GameCube games, and there's some great games for that too!

I love both Twilight Princess, which I spent most of the time playing lying down on my sofa and flicking my wrist occasionally, and Trauma Centre, which I played while rather tipsy, but still managed to get a few A's and S's. I would definitely recommend Twilight Princess, if you're a fan of the series, and Trauma Centre if you can focus and want to get a job down.

Otherwise, I don't play the Wii very much, although Spiderman 3 was pretty good when I tried it out, and - if you ever want to try your hand at Karaoke in you own living room - have a shot at Boogie.

My son brought Fifa 08 recently for our wii, he played it for about a week but when he went to play it again it froze on the colour icons !! he took it back and they exchanged it again and then again.
I know the the console is working as it play's all the other games we have with no problem's.
has anyone else had a problem with this game ?

It is possible that you have a bad copy of the game, I'd take the disk back and exchange it for a new one.

We have already changed it twice we are now on the 3rd copy !! it's so annoying.

May try 4th time lucky.

In which case delete all the fifa 08 save data and try again.

got the pyramat chair for the wii and its fantastic... well worth it!!! also got monster trucks - it's awesome!!!
i would totally invest in mario and sonic olympics if you haven't already, it's a great game and really suits the wii controls... i love it.

I think my son did do that. I took it back again to change it but they were out of stock. i am hoping that the batch was bad from the shop he got it from. so finger's crossed with the next 1.

Hello again, seem's like my son's as good as me on techonolgy !!! he had not tried what you said, but has now done it, all i need now is to get another disk to try it out !!
