What kinda time does this feature usually air? I don't normally get to listen to the show much but I sent a changing track in a couple of weeks ago and just want to listen out for it lol

I can't listen to this feature because it always reminds me of a piss-take that Chris Morris did, where he read out a (fake) letter from a guy who met the girl of his dreams but saw her killed right before his eyes by a stream of frozen urine from an overhead plane that had released its toilet wastage. The letter then went on to request some upbeat unrelated tune (if I remember correctly) just for fun. Since then, I just can't take any segment like this seriously anymore.

I can't take it seriously since bates did 'ourtune'. As soon as the music came on there'd be bets on in the studio i worked in if it was a 'deaden' or not.

Not as good as "our tone" (sp?) from the Moyles afternoon show. I used to love the background tune. I still pipe up with it when a mate or colleagues looking for sympathy! Aaahhh the good old days when I was still young.....

Anyways, hello to everyone, hope everyone is good and well!

I still can't take it seriously without thinking it's some kind of in-joke that parodies 'Our Tune'. I sent in a story the other week, but never got it read out.

I dont think its all as genuine as its supposed to be. I've sat in the pub occasionally with friends and had discussions about what fake story we can come up with to get on the radio!

Then I grew up and got a life...
