Sorry if this is being discussed in the Chris Moyles show thread. but i dont want to read that as im catching up having missed a week or so (im on last thursdays episode atm)
anyway id just like to tell Aled, that i absolutely LOVE the TV theme ramble feature.
Some days are better than others depending on what tv themes are played, but its a brilliant feature and great for reminising about tv shows i had forgotten about.
Also one of my favourite moments of recent memory, was when Chris was playing the Fraggle Rock theme, was walking down the street listening to the show on my ipod clapping away, lol. people must have thought i was nuts.
Oh and also i think the Lets get ready to ramble theme is an awesome piece of music. :)

i know what you mean, the theme tunes are a blast from the past and it's fun having old youthful memories rekindled in the mornings before work. Puts a smile on my face and i hum along to them all day... can make you feel a bit old though when the youngsters at work have never heard of certain tv shows!!
I enoy it too, its very random, in fact I suspect its probably the most random thing ive ever heard!

I like it too. Although I prefered it when Dave sang along as opposed to play his nose flute. Still find it very funny and very random. Brings back some great memories.

Yeah i like the theme tunes too but i think he is staring to run out of ones to play now
I didnt even realise it was a tv theme this morning. First time ive heard ramble in a while this morning, and i got a bit lost in it all. It went on for so long, i was away in a world of my own by the time it came back to normality.
haha riz *rolls eyes*
i love the ramble when they do tv themes. the other week when they played raggy dolls i was singing along and then a few days later colin played it in the black hole, hehe.
I dont love it, but I like it, its nice and random and I love recognising the themes but I'm not too fussed on dave doing the nose flute and stuff over the top - he's often not right which I realise can sometimes be the point but I still dont love him doing it

I got bored of it a long time ago, but it passes some time I guess. I'm just happy that everyone stopped calling it "surreal". I detest that word coming out of Rachel or Chris's mouth. Surrealism on Radio One starts and ends with Blue Jam. The TV themes by comparison is your average radio gutter and if anything it's only a sideways step from what it really is.
I prefer the Rambles of old, back when it used to be proper discussion. My favourite will always be the Moyles Bus story where he had to catch a London bus late at night and ranted about the bus system, doctors and such. THAT was a great segment. More of that, please.

I hate to be one of those people that winge on the Internet but I'm a little bored of it now, It's maybe something that should be broken out into randomly every few weeks or so rather than every day.

I agree with some of you when you say its better when you know the theme, its certainly is a random part of the show! I do enjoy it though, but sometimes feel it eats too much into more banter from the team.
When they're songs I know though then I'm into it! Is that me just being selfish?

Yeah I'm a little tired of the themes now. As some of you say it eat intos the rest of the show.

i loved it when they played saved by the bell, i was with a patient during a boring root canal and it instantly cheered me up lol i know im sad - but it was a big part of my childhood! :icon_razz:
i know all the lyrics to saved by the bell, hehe. i have three episodes on dvd actually, i used to love that show!
I think saved by the bell is one of those tunes you've gotta know the lyrics to, a bit like the fresh prince :)
