Who's playing this?

I really don't see anything else beating this for game of the year at this point. Stranglehold seems great, Halo is halo but Bioshock just has that "something" that very few games other than ones named Half Life have.

Great story, great use of sound (on a 5.1 setup), great graphics and great gameplay

What's the multiplayer like on this game? Is there any co-operative play, or split-screen shoot-each-other action at all?

I think my PC would die if I ever tried to use it, and I'm not prepared to pay £50 for it on the 360! I do like the look of it though.

You can get it for £34 at Virgin Megastores online (plus delivery). Also, you can get a free code to download Bioshock XBox 360 theme (http://gamers.eurogamer.net/giveaways.php?id=7) (requires a signup). There's only about 600 left though, so if you want one you'll have to be quick.

There's no multiplayer, which usually would be a huge down point for me as that's the main thing I usually look for in a game. But this is so good single player that it doesn't matter.

Problem is i'm finished it now :-(

Is the game too short, or did you just play it non-stop?

I played it about 2-3 hours per day since release, I'd guess it's about 20 hours or so?

Long enough really.

Hmm, that's fair enough then. 20 hours for an action game is quite good. What's the replayability on the game like? Are there side-quests/extra tasks etc.?

There are three alternate endings depending on what you do through the game. also there are lots of hidden extras and plasmiods.

I'd say it's well worth your money.

That sounds pretty good then; the more I hear about this game, the more I want to go out and buy it.

Bioshock is fantastic, and really creepy at times, mainly because of the atmosphere.
Very stylistic too, looks a bit like Gotham

Well, I just bought Bioshock for £34.99, and if you minus the 11% quidco, it came to £31.15.

Nice one, enjoy it.

Watch out for those F'n security cameras
