ooh i don't know who i want to win - lots of good bands. i have no idea who i think will clinch it either. colin murray said on his show that he thinks bat for lashes will win but i think maybe riz is right with saying the klaxons. oh i don't know. guess i'll have to watch and find out...

Well, for me, it's going to have to be The View. It's the only album i'll put on my phone in full, i listen to it all the time and they're just a great band. I hope Dizzie rascal doesn't win it, he's nothing special. Wouldn't mind seeing Amy Winehouse get it, she's pretty deserved, good album. Perhaps Jamie T, i've heard that album, not bad.

I wouldnt mind Dizzee Rascal getting, saviour of UK hip hop an all that.

Theres only 4 people/ bands that id be annoyed if they won: Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Fionn Regan or Basquiat Strings with Seb Rochford, the latter of whom i have never heard of.

Saying that, they probably will win. Anthony and the Johnsons? Who?

yeh i don't want those four to win either. i do like jamie t's album too though, so if he won, i would be happy too.

I thought Amy Winehouse sounded amazing. Even if she did look dreadful!

That woman always looks dreadful.

The Klaxons came off as horribly arrogant in their acceptance interviews (undeserved, in my opinion - their album was good at best, nothing groundbreaking). Then again, I don't hold the Mercury awards in any particular high regard anyway.
